Dempsey Unveils New Truck Graphics

What's inside? Who hasn't wondered just that as you pass a tractor trailer on the highway. Well, Dempsey is giving drivers a virtual peek inside their trucks. Their new fleet graphics show different products on each side of the truck. On one side, they display neatly pressed tablecloths, napkins, chef coats and kitchen towels for their restaurant customers; on the other, they display clean work uniforms, floor mats, shop towels and mops for their industrial customers. The graphics convey the breath of products that Dempsey supplies and supports their marketing message that, "When your business needs to look its best, Dempsey delivers."

Dempsey a Finalist for "Healthy Workplace of the Year" - 2015

On October 2nd, 2015, the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce announced the finalists for its 2015 Scranton Awards for Growth and Excellence (SAGE). Commonly known as the SAGE awards, they recognize outstanding local businesses for talent, creativity and innovation. Dempsey was announced as a finalist in the category "Healthy Workplace of the Year." Dempsey has a strong workplace wellness program that has generated a high-level of employee involvement.

P.J. Dempsey Elected to Industry Board

P.J. Dempsey, President and CEO of Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, was recently elected to the board of directors of the Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA). PJ has served in various leadership positions for the Association, including past chairman of the Environmental Committee. The election was made during the Associations Annual Meeting in South Carolina.

TRSA is an international organization representing companies that supply laundered rental uniforms, linens, floor mats and towels. TRSA represents nearly 90 percent of the textile services market.

"I'm honored to be elected to this position by my peers," said PJ. "I will work with TRSA to promote the sustainable nature of textile rental and to maximize the sustainable laundry practices of our membership."
