On January 28th, 2011, Dempsey recognized workers from Allied Services in Scranton for their hard work. Employees from Allied Service’s Vocational division have recycled eight million hangers from Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply over the past three years.

“We employ several hundred individuals…to give them this opportunity, it’s tremendous for Allied, it’s great for the environment, it’s good for the community, and it really shows what employers can do when they work together,” said Allied Services President Bill Canaboy.

Dempsey presented the Allied employees with a “Golden Hanger” to mark the milestone, and our  Y-Guy™ mascot visited with the workers.
