OUR RESTAURANT LINEN SYSTEM
Choose Dempsey and enjoy three unique benefits:
Highest Quality Products
We know it can be frustrating for employees to search for linens without stains or, even worse, for a guest to find a stained napkin first.
At Dempsey, we leverage technology, like our ProductPlus™ system, to provide quality products that improve your guest experience. We start with well-known Milliken® table linens and process them using the most advanced laundering equipment. Careful inspection by the most tenured team in the business ensures that each package of linen will be clean and usable, saving you time and money.
Most Reliable Deliveries
We understand that linen shortages can really slow your restaurant down, frustrating employees and affecting your restaurant’s image.
To increase your restaurant’s efficiency, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and MobileLink™ systems, to make complete deliveries on your scheduled delivery day. We accurately track the soiled linens you turn in, maintain deep inventories of the products you use, and route our trucks with GPS precision to make sure your delivery is on schedule.
Lowest Total Cost
Invoices from other restaurant linen suppliers can be frustrating. They may not even tell you how many linens you’re using.
At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we harness technologies, like our VacuTrack™, CustomerPortal, and SilverSaver™ systems, to provide you with knowledge and insight via an online Customer Portal. This proprietary interface enables you to view and adjust your orders to control the total cost. We only bill you based on usage, plus, when employees leave flatware in your soil bags, we collect and return it to you at no additional cost.

Hagerstown was founded in 1739 by Jonathan Hager who proudly named his 200-acre purchase “Hager’s Fancy.” Although he later changed the name to Elizabethtown to honor his wife, locals never quite caught on and continued to call it Hager’s Town. In 1874, the Maryland Legislature finally made the name Hagerstown official. Today, Jonathan Hager’s original home is preserved in a city park and is known as the Hager House and Museum.
Another museum of note in Hagerstown is the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, which features a thorough and eclectic collection of 18th to early 20th-century art. It includes landscapes by American Impressionists, pottery, folk art, and Art Deco glass by Tiffany and Lalique. Impressive sculptures by Auguste Rodin, the father of modern sculpture, round out the diverse collection.
In contrast to the prestigious offerings of the Museum of Fine Arts, local artwork is the specialty of the Mansion House Art Center, headquarters of the Valley Art Association. Here, the works of various area artists are displayed in a beautiful Georgian-style building and are available for purchase.
The arts play a prominent role in Hagerstown, and its festivals set it apart from other cities in the region. Downtown Live! features rock and reggae music, paired with local food and entertainment. The Western Maryland Blues Fest celebrates an American musical tradition and attracts individual artists and bands from around the country. Influenced by the local German culture of the city, Hagerstown even has its own unique Augustoberfest. It’s everything one would expect from a traditional Oktoberfest, but it takes place during the summertime. Featuring Bavarian music, ethnic foods like Wiener Schnitzel, bratwurst, and potato dumplings, and German beer by the stein, the event wraps up with a car show of German-made vehicles that is unlike any other.
As one might expect of a city with a rich German heritage, Bavarian culinary specialties – such as Sauerbraten and schnitzel – are available year-round in a decidedly Old World atmosphere, with servers often dressed to the hilt in traditional dirndls. Thanks in part to its position near the upper reaches of the Chesapeake Bay, Hagerstown has a rich seafood heritage that’s reflected in the many award-winning dishes – featuring native crab and lobster – offered by area restaurants. Hagerstown residents can also patronize other locally-owned restaurants and pubs, as well as a few familiar chain restaurants. Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is pleased to support the restaurant community in and around Hagerstown by providing quality restaurant uniform rentals, restaurant linens, and facility supplies to a wide selection of dining and hospitality establishments.
