OUR MEDICAL LINEN SYSTEM
Choose Dempsey and enjoy three unique benefits:
Highest Laundry Certification
Do you know who, if anyone, inspects your current laundry supplier to evaluate and ensure sanitary conditions?
At Dempsey, to support your infection control program, we’ve committed to the highest level of certification, Hygienically Clean Healthcare Certification by TRSA™. It’s the only laundry program that requires third-party bacteriological testing of linen cleanliness. We earn continued certification through quarterly testing of our products and processes, providing Dempsey customers with proof of compliance and peace of mind.
Highest Quality Products
We know your nursing staff gets frustrated when they waste valuable time searching for clean linens or, even worse, when a patient finds a stained gown first.
At Dempsey, we leverage technology, like our ProductPlus™ program, to provide quality products that improve your patient experience. We start with well-known Medline scrubs, gowns and sheets, process them with the most advanced laundry equipment, and inspect them with the most tenured team in the business. Each package of linen will be clean and usable, saving you time and money.
Lowest Total Cost
We know linen invoices can be confusing. After all, how can you control the cost when you don’t even know how many linens you are using?
At Dempsey, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and CustomerPortal systems, to provide transparent billing that helps you reduce your linen supply cost per case. We accurately track the soiled linens you turn in - and let you view those numbers in your online Customer Portal - then, we only bill you based on your usage.

Originally christened Helms’ Mills and later Musconetcong, after the river on which it’s located. Hackettstown was eventually renamed in honor of Samuel Hackett, a local landowner. Tucked away in the hills and forests of western New Jersey, Hackettstown has been long known for its spectacular natural scenery.
Steven’s State Park boasts more than six miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails that wind their way around the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, including a section of the Morris Canal towpath. Trails range from fairly flat to very challenging, and more adventurous park visitors can even try their skills at rock climbing. The Allamuchy Mountain State Park is also close by, and offers demanding hiking trails more suitable for experts. Allamuchy has 14 miles of marked trails, and more than 20 miles of unmarked ones, with 10 miles of the Highland Trail running along the Northern boundary of the Park. The Musconetcong river offers wonderful trout fishing, and a 470-acre section of the park is open for hunting.
One of the smaller towns in the state, comprised of only 3.7 square miles, Hackettstown nevertheless boasts high quality medical services. Major medical facilities include the Hackettstown Medical Center and Hackettstown Hospital. Although the Medical Center opened relatively recently, in 1973, serious discussions about its inception had been occurring since 1945, based on concerns that the closest hospital was more than 20 miles away. A group of local doctors and business people actually pooled their personal resources to buy the land in 1956, forming a corporation called the Hackettstown Community Hospital. In 2009, the hospital was ranked first in the nation for Overall Quality by WhyNotTheBest.org, and from 2010-2016, it earned recognition from the American Association for Respiratory Care for its Quality of Respiratory Care. Quality is something the team at Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply understands. Certified as a Hygienically Clean Healthcare Laundry by TRSA, the Textile Rental Services Association, we support a broad range of healthcare customers in the Hackettstown region.
Hackettstown Medical Center is known for its joint replacement services and level of expertise. Its orthopedic surgeons and specialists perform total knee and hip replacements, certified by The Joint Commission. In addition to a wide variety of traditional Western medical resources, the area is home to homeopathic and herbal practitioners, chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and Oriental medicine practices.
