OUR RESTAURANT LINEN SYSTEM
Choose Dempsey and enjoy three unique benefits:
Highest Quality Products
We know it can be frustrating for employees to search for linens without stains or, even worse, for a guest to find a stained napkin first.
At Dempsey, we leverage technology, like our ProductPlus™ system, to provide quality products that improve your guest experience. We start with well-known Milliken® table linens and process them using the most advanced laundering equipment. Careful inspection by the most tenured team in the business ensures that each package of linen will be clean and usable, saving you time and money.
Most Reliable Deliveries
We understand that linen shortages can really slow your restaurant down, frustrating employees and affecting your restaurant’s image.
To increase your restaurant’s efficiency, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and MobileLink™ systems, to make complete deliveries on your scheduled delivery day. We accurately track the soiled linens you turn in, maintain deep inventories of the products you use, and route our trucks with GPS precision to make sure your delivery is on schedule.
Lowest Total Cost
Invoices from other restaurant linen suppliers can be frustrating. They may not even tell you how many linens you’re using.
At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we harness technologies, like our VacuTrack™, CustomerPortal, and SilverSaver™ systems, to provide you with knowledge and insight via an online Customer Portal. This proprietary interface enables you to view and adjust your orders to control the total cost. We only bill you based on usage, plus, when employees leave flatware in your soil bags, we collect and return it to you at no additional cost.
New York City Restaurants trust us to help them look good.

One of the major factors that influenced the character of New York City was the massive influx of immigrants who arrived via Ellis Island and other ports of entry. While some people entered the country and just kept going, spreading across the country, large numbers stayed in the City and contributed their labor and talents to turn an already strong economy into the powerhouse it is today. Many immigrants did assimilate over time, but the assimilation went both ways. Newcomers adopted American ways and – at the same time – shared their cultural history and helped shape what it meant to be an American. The idea of America as melting pot of ideas and culture has always rung true. Back in the day, French, Irish, Italian, Puerto Rican, Spanish, and East Asian cultures, to name a few, had a significant impact on the cultural life in the city, and the country as a whole. It continues to this day. In The Big Apple and in other large cities, immigrants typically congregated in their own neighborhoods, like Chinatown or Little Italy. This helped families hold on to some ways of the old country while adjusting to an American way of life. It was this combination of old and new that led to the eclectic and ever-changing mix that is American culture.
Restaurants and food trends are a great way to gauge this combination and its impact. Often established by immigrants to mainly serve their own people, many local ethnic eateries blossomed over time and helped introduce their unique, cultural specialties to the general public. Many foreign dishes became part of the fabric of American life to the extent that many people forget that foods like hamburgers, pizza, and fried rice were once considered exotic and a bizarre. Due to its large immigrant population, Manhattan may have the most varied collection of restaurants in the world. The Kopitiam, a Malaysian-themed coffee shop and café is located on East Broadway. Serving all day, and offering a variety of traditional and house favorites – including an anchovy-laden Pan Mee to die for – makes it a memorable stop. On West Broadway, one could dine at Frenchette, a French bistro known for its Continental cooking, changing menu, and broad wine selection. In Little Italy, on Grand Street, is Tomiño Taberna Gallega, a restaurant run by renowned Galician chef Lucia Freitas, well known for its northwest Spanish food and amazing Tapas. No review of eateries would be complete without mention of the world-famous Katz’s Delicatessen, the quintessential New York Jewish deli as famous for its homemade corned beef and pastrami as for its role in movies and television, including one in “When Harry Met Sally.”
Forward-thinking restaurants and other dining establishments usually prefer to outfit team members in clean, professional uniforms that reflect well on their businesses. Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply offers a full range of restaurant uniform rentals, restaurant linen, napkins, cleaning towels, mats, mops, and facility supplies. Our customers rely on us for commercial laundry services that make use of advanced laundering equipment, uniform inventory tracking, Mobics Artificial Intelligence for linen stain detection, and other technologies. As people become more environmentally conscious than ever before, they often decide where to dine based – in part – on an organization’s green practices. As the very first company in the United States to have earned the TRSA CleanGreen® certification, Dempsey is proud to lead our industry in helping to reduce our, and our customers’, carbon footprint and environmental impact.
