OUR MEDICAL LINEN SYSTEM
Choose Dempsey and enjoy three unique benefits:
Highest Laundry Certification
Do you know who, if anyone, inspects your current laundry supplier to evaluate and ensure sanitary conditions?
At Dempsey, to support your infection control program, we’ve committed to the highest level of certification, Hygienically Clean Healthcare Certification by TRSA™. It’s the only laundry program that requires third-party bacteriological testing of linen cleanliness. We earn continued certification through quarterly testing of our products and processes, providing Dempsey customers with proof of compliance and peace of mind.
Highest Quality Products
We know your nursing staff gets frustrated when they waste valuable time searching for clean linens or, even worse, when a patient finds a stained gown first.
At Dempsey, we leverage technology, like our ProductPlus™ program, to provide quality products that improve your patient experience. We start with well-known Medline scrubs, gowns and sheets, process them with the most advanced laundry equipment, and inspect them with the most tenured team in the business. Each package of linen will be clean and usable, saving you time and money.
Lowest Total Cost
We know linen invoices can be confusing. After all, how can you control the cost when you don’t even know how many linens you are using?
At Dempsey, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and CustomerPortal systems, to provide transparent billing that helps you reduce your linen supply cost per case. We accurately track the soiled linens you turn in - and let you view those numbers in your online Customer Portal - then, we only bill you based on your usage.

Dubbed “The Place at the Forks” by the Lenape Native Americans, Easton sits on land obtained through the Walking Purchase, an agreement in which the Penn family of Pennsylvania secured thousands of acres of the Lenape’s tribal lands. The site of the signing of the Treaty of Easton, the city played an influential role in the settlement of the French and Indian War. Easton was also a significant military center during the American Revolutionary War and holds the honor of being one of the first three places in which the Declaration of Independence was read in public. During the industrial revolution, leveraging their proximity to both the Lehigh and Delaware rivers, merchants used canals to move huge quantities of anthracite coal to a demanding and expanding customer base. As the years passed, traversing canals gave way to rail travel, with Easton eventually becoming a hub for five railroads.
The county seat of Northampton County, Easton is part of the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton metropolitan region. A family-friendly city, it’s home to two highly regarded and interactive children’s museums: the colorful, kid-centric Crayola Experience and The National Canal Museum. The Crayola Experience, located in the heart of the city, is a 65,000 sq. ft. attraction chock full of amusements and fun for the whole family. It’s actually larger than a NFL football field! The seasonal National Canal Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of canals and documenting their contribution to the growth of America. Located in the 520-acre Hugh Moore Park, between the Lehigh Canal and Lehigh River, this hands-on museum offers rides in a mule-drawn canal boat, bird walks, sunset cruises, and hands-on activities like learning to harness a mule.
Easton is home to the Pediatric Medical Center of Lehigh Valley, a family-centered facility dedicated to healing sick and injured children. The Center plays an active role in the community, offering parents and caregivers information on children’s health and nutrition, immunizations, car seat recommendations, children’s product recalls, and more. In 2017, the 127-year-old Easton Hospital became part of Steward Health Care, a privately held, for-profit health group in Boston. As facilities and services in the city continue to evolve, so too does Dempsey’s commitment to providing medical uniform rentals, medical linen rentals, Hygienically Clean laundry services, and facility supplies. Our expanding healthcare clientele in the Easton area includes Morrison Nutrition (Easton Hospital), the Saint Francis Retreat, and New Attitude.
In Easton, a variety of year-round festivals draw crowds for interesting, and often unique, entertainment. The Riverside Festival of the Arts is an annual 2-day event that celebrates and promotes arts, crafts, music, and education. In October, the annual Easton Garlic Festival rears its stinky head! Visitors are invited to come “Eat, Drink and Stink” at this tongue-in-cheek gathering of garlic vendors selling an abundance of garlic-themed food, beverages, and wares. Easton’s annual Heritage Day is a tribute to that long-ago reading of the Declaration of Independence: townspeople dress up in period costumes, historical reenactments abound, and there’s always a dramatic re-reading of that famous document. And finally, there’s Easton’s PA Baconfest, named one of the TOP 300 Festivals in the world by FEST300.com. This massive, 2-day annual event uses a pig roast, live music, pig races, and pig calling contests to attract and entertain more than 80,000 people.
